Doctoral programs
Doctoral programs (I stage of postgraduate education) are aimed at training specialists with the skills of planning and independently conducting scientific research, deep theoretical knowledge, allowing to prepare a qualifying scientific work (dissertation) for the degree of candidate of sciences (Ph.D.).
At the I stage of postgraduate education, an educational program of Doctoral programs is implemented, which ensures the acquisition of the scientific qualification “Researcher".
Since 1959 the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has been training highly qualified personnel at the first stage of postgraduate education through doctoral programs in the following specialties:
03.01.02 «Biophysics»
03.01.04 «Biochemic»
03.01.05 «Plant physiology and biochemistry»
03.03.04 «Cell biology, cytology, histology»
Forms of study: full-time and part-time
Duration of study: 3 years – full-time education, 4 or 5 years – part-time training program.
As of 01.01.2020, 12 people are studying in the postgraduate course of the Institute, of which 9 are full-time students, 3 are on the part-time training program.
