Areas of fundamental and applied scientific research
Investigation of the biophysical and biochemical foundations of the functioning of plant systems in order to create new adaptive and diagnostic technologies for agriculture.
– study of the structural and functional state of plants and the mechanisms of adaptation to the action of abiotic and biotic environmental factors at different levels of organization of the plant organism (membrane, cellular, organismic, cenotic);
– scientific substantiation and development of methods for using plant extracts containing biologically active compounds to stimulate the growth and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells;
– scientific substantiation and development of cellular biotechnologies for obtaining plant substances enriched with polyphenols to create antioxidant drugs;
– scientific substantiation and development of highly effective nanotechnologies for protecting plants from diseases and pests;
– development and introduction into production of new technological methods for increasing the resistance of agricultural plants based on the use of polymers, growth regulators, immunomodulators, adaptogens and microelements;
– development and introduction into production of express methods for diagnosing the resistance of plant organisms to abiotic and biotic influences.
